This island has so many of the parking areas near the water sewn up tight so that you have to pay, be a town resident or simply aren't allowed to park at all. There is a lovely little spot locally that we ride by sometimes that thankfully is still open to everyone.

Can you imagine just how boring this world would be if it weren't for the kooks? Thank sweet baby Jebus for those offbeat weirdos who build junk towers, drive furry cars, decorate the lawns of their million dollar properties with dinosaurs.

Night Shot: Ducati Hypermotard

I just find the Ducati Hypermotard to be such a sexy beast. I forgot my tripod last night so I couldn't get any good close-ups without using a flash. The guy who owns this one drilled out parts of the exhaust cannister tips and I think it looks so awesome. I'll try to get some shots tonight. Remind me to bring a tripod!
